Formed in Buffalo in 1986, the Goo Goo Dolls developed from punk and alternative beginnings into a melodic rock band led by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist and vocalist Robby Takac. Their landmark 1998 album, Dizzy Up the Girl, introduced enduring hits including “Iris,” “Slide” and “Black Balloon.” Other notable songs include “Name,” “Here Is Gone” and “Big Machine.”

“Iris” became a defining song for the band and a familiar arena singalong, while the group's catalog reflects a long-running mix of emotional songwriting and guitar-driven rock. The supplied event details identify this Newark appearance as part of the three-act bill; they do not specify a tour name, set times or running order. Venue and Seating Information

Prudential Center is a major indoor arena in downtown Newark, hosting concerts and sporting events. Seating configurations can change for concerts, so the stage layout and available sections should be checked against the event's ticket map before choosing seats.

Lower-level seats closer to the stage are often appealing for a more immediate view of the performers, while elevated sections can provide a broader perspective on the stage and production. Sightlines depend on the concert setup, so review the specific seat location rather than assuming every section has the same view.

Parking Information

Parking availability and rates can vary by event. Consider comparing official arena guidance with nearby garages, and allow extra time for downtown traffic and post-show congestion.
